Introducing The Tippy Tapp

WALT wash hands but using less
We made the tippy tap to waste less water because we are learning about Africa and that there is not a lot of water there. It took us 10 liters of water to wash our hands properly.In Africa there is not a lot of water there so if they use that much water they might run out of water. So if the can make a tippy tap they will be able to wash their hand properly.

This report is a factual report about water and what happens in the water cycle. Here is my report about the water cycle.

The water from the clouds comes down as rain when the cloud is too heavy then goes  on the surface of the ground. This is called precipitation  

The water soaks through the earth and through cracks in the earth. After it goes underground the water will store in the aquifer. Next if we need the water, the water goes up to the pump and goes to the house.

 

The water from the land gets heated by the sun.  Then the water  transforms into steam

. this is also called vapor. The steam goes up into the clouds from the trees or the plants or underground.

The vapor/steam goes up into the sky then it forms back into liquid,  after it turns  into  liquid it forms into clouds. If the clouds are heavy it starts to rain.

Finally, this is what happens in the water cycle.

The Grouchy Giraffe

Once there was a Giraffe named Groucho who hated pictures of  being happy. His only weakness was when he sees Mt Everest. He has always wanted to go there and be the first animal to climb it. He heard on the news that a man named  Edmund Hillary reached the peak of Mt Everest. Groucho wished that he was the animal that took Edmund up. He said to himself ,"I am going to be the first giraffe to climb Mt Everest."
Every day he would jog and drink lots of water. He tried climbing small hills but always ending up tumbling and rooling . He had cuts from vines and always felt cold. He thought that he will never make it. Other animals laughed at him except for his friend Vino the eagle.  Vino said , "it's okay Groucho, I will help you and I will fly over you and look for a safe path, if you get tired I will find a place for you to stay while you are away from home."
Then after Groucho got a message from his Iphone and it said,"hey son it's me your mum your sisters and I will come to your house and we would like to see you climb the peek of MT Everest." Then he was emmberrast.

My Creative Water Facts

WALT about water and we wrote facts about animals that live in the water .


My facts are these

1.blue  whales can grow longer than 30 meters .

2.Turtles have hard shells to protect them.

3.Turtles have existed for 215 million years.

4.compared to other animals dolphins are more intelligent.

5.Dolphins are carnivores ( they eat meat ).

I have been looking at fun facts and I have seen attractive animals and smart animals.

I know I have learnt this lesson because I know the special graces of anointing of the sick like blessing, strength. This picture shows that when people are about to die they can get anointed from the priest and they have strength,f aith and love from other people.
